We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the European Global Surgery Congress 2024, organized by the European Global Surgery Network. This significant event will be held from October 8th to 12th in Essen, Germany.

The congress will commence with three days of pre-conference hands-on workshops
(October 8-10), covering diverse global surgical topics such as trauma, acute abdomen, ENT problems, anesthesia, gynecology, and neurosurgery. These workshops are designed for medical professionals from high, middle, and low-income countries with an interest in global surgical practices.

From October 10th to 12th, we will host the main conference under the theme “Shaping the Future of Global Surgery Together.” This conference aims to review our progress, share insights, and define future collaborative efforts to enhance global surgical care. The event will feature panel-style plenary sessions, breakout discussions, and a poster session for young researchers, providing a platform for networking and showcasing innovative work.
